Confident kids

As part of the Kia Kaha programme we discussed what a confident kid looks like. First we were put into groups of 3 or 4 and given a feeling. We had to make a statue showing how we thought that feeling looked. It was a lot of fun. We wrote down how we looked, what our heads were doing, our arms, and how we felt.
Can you work out which feelings we are showing in these pictures?

Oh no...

Oh no!! Happy hour fun went a little far today!!
(thankfully he is o.k)

Maths is a real problem

We had a great lesson today working out a tricky problem. We had to work out how many people were coming to a fundraising BBQ and how much money we raised through selling sausages and drinks. After a lot of discussion and trials we all came up with an answer. It was really difficult for some of us to know where to start so we worked collabratively and it was a lot of fun.

Kia Kaha

We created our very own class waka using the Kia Kaha theme of being strong together. We all thought of words that represent a great class and put them on the oars.
What an awesome crew!
