We thought about goals for the term and decided that although we would love to go up lots and lots of levels in reading, writing and maths it would be more sensible to choose smaller goals. We want to be able to achieve these by the end of the term... good luck to us :-)

Kia Kaha
Today we were lucky enough to have Merv (Constable Hotter) visit our classroom. He came to talk to us about what bullying is and what it looks like.
We decided that:
When someone says or does something unintentionally hurtful and they only do it once, that's RUDE!
When someone says or does something intentionally hurtful and they do it once, that's MEAN!
When someone does something intentionally hurtful and the keep doing it even when you tell them to stop or show them that you are upset' that's BULLYING!

Very handy
A recent book we read was The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. We decided to make a bookmark to use at our school library. On it we drew a character portrait of what we thought the Gruffalo looked like from his description. We drew lots of different looking Gruffalo's but they are all excellent representations... don't you think?!
We're all at sea...
In Room 22 we have been talking about how many of our differences are also our similarities. We decided that even though we are all different we can all get on together... we may be different fish but in this school we all swim together!
